Sad Park - You said/Chest Pains (Single)

I fell in love with SAD PARK's last album "It's all over", just read here and there. Only a few months after their stellar album, and while playing a lot of gigs recently, they still found the time do re-record two older songs. And they don't sound like the originals.

It's quite impressive, that they changed a lot of nuances within their sound for a rather small digital release, possibly pointing to their next physical release. The four-piece moves even farther away from the Pop-Punk- and Emo-aesthetics, focussing on a more sophisticated, grown-up but still sensitive style of Indie-Rock. "You said" is quite slowly progressing for their standards, while "Chest Pains" is louder and faster, though it's nowhere near as aggressive as some stuff on "It's all over". This new single shows an interesting progression for SAD PARK, raising the tension for their upcoming material. But, check it out yourself:
