Demo-Rec: Against Realism

AGAINST REALISM is a guy out of Melbourne, Australia, now residing in Tokyo, Japan. Besides creating some cool, digital artworks (in the style of the Demo' cover), the man behind this project also writes some experimental music. Screamo and Emo are the backbone, but the result is far way from what you'd expect it to sound. There's a heavy Electro-element present in those tracks, also AGAINST REALISM uses some effects to distort the vocals. The vocals and the whole feeling of these songs is somewhere between devilish, confusing and outlandish... but in that manner it kinda fits into the artist's abstract art. It's indeed "against realism".

The Australian-native will produce a whole album and I could see this working, if he's able to put all those interesting pieces together. With "What would Tom Hanks do" he already wrote a track that's captivating on his own. I'm curious in which direction this AGAINST REALISM-project is going...
